Year 2000 Flora London Marathon
This was the day, the only day I discovered my body (legs), lungs my mind spoke at the same time about the same thing (PAIN)!.
I walked for most of the route from mile 17 onwards after a good massage from St. John’s Ambulance. All in all it was good fun getting high on endorphins after the race. If you look closely you will see a medal around my neck. You’ve gotta finish to get you a medal!
